Driver License & State ID FAQ

How much does a Driver License cost?

You can renew your Oklahoma driver license for four years for $38.50 or eight years for $77.00.  Driver licenses for holders 65 years and older are free of charge.  If you are going to turn 65 during your renewal period, your license fee will be prorated.  We accept cash, cashier’s checks or money orders payable to Service Oklahoma, and all major credit cards.  There will be an additional fee of $2.00 plus 2.25% to process all debit/credit cards.

What if I have a Commercial Driver License?

All drivers with Oklahoma Commercial Driver Licenses with HAZ MAT restrictions or endorsements (Restriction K, Endorsement H, Endorsement X) OR drivers with an out-of-state Commercial Driver License must visit a Service Oklahoma facility for license issuance or renewal. We can process all other CDL renewals and replacements in our office.  You must provide one current proof of residence in your legal name and medical records must be current and on file.

If you currently have an Oklahoma Commercial Driver License and no longer wish to maintain the commercial class (downgrade to non-commercial (Class D) license), we can process your renewal or replacement license in our office.

What if my license is expired?

If your driver license has been expired for over one year, you must present your birth certificate at the time of renewal.

If your driver license has been expired for over 3 years, you must re-apply for a license at a Service Oklahoma facility.  You may contact them directly for more information at (918) 259-0764.
